Fixed Wing or Flex Wing – The choice is yours
The flexwing microlight is based on the principles of a hanglider wing. Controlled by the
movement of the aircraft weight “weight-shift”. The pilot and passenger are seated in an open
trike unit beneath the aircraft wing.
The fixed wing microlight resembles a conventional light aircraft in looks and control systems.
Controlled by the movement of stick/yoke/rudders which move control surfaces on the aircraft wings
and tail plane. The pilot and passenger sit side by side in an enclosed cockpit.

To purchase a voucher, please send a cheque or postal order payable to "Cheshire Microlights". Upon receipt of your cheque, we will return the voucher together with our information leaflet in a
plain white envelope (no clues!) by first class post.
If you would prefer to pay by credit/debit card, please phone 01270 764713.
IMPORTANT: Please don't forget to tell us who the voucher is for (their name), and also to whom
and to where you would like it posting.
We would emphasise that the flights (20min or 1hr) take the form of an introductory trial lesson,
where we encourage a degree of hands on control. Although this is just a taster, should you continue
with further training, the time will count towards the hours required for the licence.

Weather
Many people consider Microlighting a summer only activity. On the contrary, Microlighting is an all year
round sport, with some of the best flying done in the winter months when the air is free from thermic disturbance.
